 THE VAT-ROOMThe present vat-room was built in 1995. The modernity of the stainless steel vats is attenuated by their conical shape, and the golden colour of the wooden beams softens the vats' metallic reflections. A magnificent whitewood floor topped with beams is found above the tops of the 42 temperature-controlled vats. This is an unusual setting for guests of Château Palmer at gala dinners. |
